The armoire featured in the center of the wall is made by Hooker Furniture and is very solid and well built.  The coffee table is a custom stone, iron and glass table that weighs a ton.

New things at c2d this week....

Here is a peek at some of the things we got in the store this week....

The highlight of our front window display is a beautiful Broyhill Elk River Collection Trestle Table with 2 captains and 8 ladderback side chairs with a very durable, but also beautiful ultrasuede in a smoky chocolate.  Coordinating with that is a Welsch Dresser/Hutch that is immaculate!  You cannot see how pretty they are unless you see them in person....OH- if only I had a huge dining room!!!!!

New at c2d.....

Sadly- one of our drivers- Anson- had to go back to his home state, but we found a wonderful replacement already- his name is David Wagner and we are so happy to have him on our staff.  Wednesday- Nick and Dave had 4 pick ups and before they returned to the store- 3 of the consignors had called to commend the guys for being so courteous, friendly and professional.  Wow! That says it all right there!!! Way to go c2d driver team- you guys rock!!!!!

Our store sign is now lighting the way for customers to find us at night- along with our beautiful lighting that is finally up inside thanks to Jack and his crew of electricians!!!!

This week at c2d...

The electricians are installing our lighting and the construction crew is building our cash counter and shelving this week. We are getting close!!!!!

What's Old is New Again...

We are using an antique armoire that I dismantled a couple of years ago and combining it with some rustic alder wood doors that I found at a reclaimed wood center to make the cash counter and our gift wrap/shelving unit. They are really going to be awesome and loaded with unique character. Once they finish building t...hem we are going to do a distressed paint finish on them. Watch for pics coming soon....

The concrete stain company www.vstainedconcrete.com is working their magic in our store this week getting the floors done. Can't wait to see the results!!!! Thanks Jed!!!

A big thanks to the painters who have finished the ceilings and base- coated the walls for the faux finish...

It's Official!!!!

We finally got the keys to our new store yesterday!!!! Now the real work begins. Follow our blog as we post photos and news of our progress.... Can't wait to see all of you when we open!!!!

It's Wednesday, April 14th and we are in the final negotiations for our new lease space. We are hoping to get the keys by Monday and start the project of getting the store ready. Things are moving along....
